NUI Maynooth

NUI MAYNOOTH // RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN

The agency was tasked to create a campaign to recruit students for NUI Maynooth. My role was to develop a digital strategy that would integrate with the ATL idea ‘Little Things’ which highlighted how details of everyday life in NUI Maynooth illustrate the great advantages of studying in Ireland’s University Town. We developed a microsite specifically targeted to prospective undergraduate students, rich in videos and social media assets. We also launched a Facebook app which allowed teens to create a virtual (and real life) book or notepad containing their favourite photos of all the little things that made their school years special.

To promote Ulster Bank’s involvement in the RBS 6 Nations, we updated last year’s campaign site and adapted our successful rugby game for the iPhone.

We were briefed to develop a new identity and redesign the site for Repak’s client-facing initiative. We also rolled out the new look on their social profiles.

Never Give Up 3 Viral

POWERADE // NEVER GIVE UP

This sequel to our 2007 Paul O’Connell viral piece is a programme for those needing a bit of motivation to get fit. Choose from 3 different objectives (get back to training, get fit or prepare for a race) and get personalised messages (video, email and a few surprises) from Mr Paul. It also includes a personalised send to friend functionality.

GAVIN BATE // MY EVEREST CHALLENGE

This website was launched to raise awareness of Gavin Bate’s ascent of Mount Everest to raise funds for his charity Moving Mountains. It is part site, part blog, and works as a hub where all sorts of updates converge (via Twitter, voice blogs, real-time GPS tracked on Google Maps).

More than just a game

This site was launched by adidas to promote the Munster vs All Blacks game which coincided with the re-opening of Thomond Park in Limerick. Ticket giveaways, exclusive footage and loads of content about the game and its significance.

The Bushmills Trek

BUSHMILLS // THE BUSHMILLS TREK

This huge campaign had three phases. The first one aimed to recruit 3 people who would be sent on an amazing trip across the world. The second phase announced the winners. And the last one allowed site visitors to follow the trekkers’ progress as well as entering a competition to join them on the last leg of the trip. The competition was in fact composed of three games: an interactive video game with the Bushmills Distillery’s Master Distiller; a video photo safari game..and a yak-packing game. That’s right. It’s not a weird typo. It was called Pack the Yack and was a Everest base Camp version of Bucking Bronco.

Guinness Hurling

GUINNESS // HURLING

We were briefed to devise and develop the digital part of the Hurling Bootcamp campaign to raise awareness of Guinness’ sponsorship of hurling. This included a video-rich microsite with profiles of competitors and an interactive video-based Puc Fada game.

Bosco is back!

To celebrate xmas, we brought Bosco back especially for this micro-site. Site visitors could ask Bosco to send personalised video xmas greetings to their friends!
