A bit more about…me

With a background in literature and translation (M.A English, Sorbonne Nouvelle), I must admit that I had no idea I would end up in online marketing/advertising.

Having discovered a passion for web-design and for its potential for unfolding narratives through words, visuals and atmosphere, I decided to go back to college and get some formal training in multimedia.

After completing an MSc in Multimedia in Trinity College, Dublin, I joined Cybercom as Designer at a crucial time in Ireland when big brands were starting to discover the importance of communicating with their audience online.

Increased broadband penetration and flash video allowed me to mix my passion with film into my work, and as the agency grew, so did my responsibilites.

Over the years, Cybercom’s first class client list allowed me to develop campaigns for amazing brands, as well as pitch for and win some more. To name a few brands: Guinness, Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Powerade, Aer Lingus, eBookers, Guinness Storehouse, Smithwick’s, eircom, First Active, Ulster Bank etc…Have a look at my portfolio to see some of the campaigns I worked on.

I left Cybercom recently, where I was joint Creative Director and Studio Manager, heading a 10-strong Studio of incredibly talented people. I am now working in Rothco, as Digital Creative Director.
